Iapeto

Iapeto is a system defined by a stable yellow-white star and its massive gas giant, Iapeto. The system functions as a critical industrial hub for the USF, where all economic activity is anchored by an extensive network of 380 moons. Japeta serves as the system’s capital and sole urban center, hosting the administration, infrastructure, and civilian population. Other significant moons include Iapo (agricultural), Iaros (volcanic mining), Iaren (industrial refinery), and Iavos (scientific research). The system is a vital source of resources such as Metarion, Plastirion, and Titanum, coordinated through a constant flow of personnel and cargo between the capital and the specialized satellite colonies.
