Overview
Taskir is an alpine world located in the Zuthorios Sector, whose economy depends almost entirely on the extraction of high-density minerals and precious gemstones. Its surface is dominated by towering mountain ranges, elevated plateaus, and cold valleys containing mineral-rich rock formations and extensive crystal deposits.
The planet’s entire population of approximately 10 million inhabitants lives in a single city built around the principal mining complexes and mineral-processing facilities. Due to the strategic value of its resources, all mining operations are strictly regulated by the USF. No cargo ship is permitted to leave the planet without undergoing rigorous security inspections and customs checks, ensuring complete oversight of every exported shipment.
Planetary View
From orbit, Taskir stands out for its unusual combination of colors. Its continents display extensive shades of purple and violet-blue, resulting from the planet’s distinctive surface mineral composition and cold-adapted alpine vegetation. The oceans and large lakes feature brilliant turquoise waters that contrast sharply with the surrounding landmasses.
Thin white cloud formations drift across the atmosphere, occasionally revealing vast mountain ranges and snow-covered regions. At higher elevations, bright white glaciers reflect the light of the host star. The planet’s only city appears as a small concentration of white and blue lights nestled within a broad mountain valley, while most of the surface remains largely untouched by civilization. Seven moons accompany Taskir, completing its distinctive orbital landscape.
Surface View
Taskir’s surface features towering mountain ranges, violet and bluish alpine forests, crystalline rock formations, and extensive turquoise lakes. The sky is generally clear, with scattered clouds and cold, clean air that allows for excellent visibility across the mountainous terrain.
Taskir Prime occupies a broad valley, with tall buildings, industrial complexes, railway stations, and extensive mineral-processing facilities connected directly to nearby mines. Heavy freight trains constantly travel through tunnels carved into the mountains, transporting extracted materials to the planet’s spaceports.
Before any shipment can leave the planet, it must undergo strict inspections and receive official authorization. Beyond the city and industrial zones, the landscape remains largely undisturbed, characterized by rugged mountains, frozen highlands, and vast stretches of pristine wilderness.
Fauna and Flora
Mountain mammals, alpine birds, purple coniferous forests, cold-resistant shrubs, blue lichens, and crystalline mosses.
