Overview
Dillioni is a small oceanic world whose surface is almost entirely covered by deep blue oceans. Its few exposed landmasses consist of enormous rocky and coral formations shaped over millions of years by ocean currents, creating natural arches, towering spires, submerged caverns, and spectacular coral cliffs.
With its warm climate, clear waters, and extraordinary marine ecosystems, Dillioni has become one of the most attractive tourist destinations in the Zuthorios Sector. Its permanent population is approximately three million, concentrated primarily in a single major coastal city that serves as the planet’s main spaceport, tourism center, and commercial hub. Beyond this settlement, the planet remains largely undeveloped, preserving its vast oceans and natural coral landscapes.
Planetary View
From orbit, Dillioni appears as a brilliant blue sphere dominated by deep oceans covering nearly its entire surface. Scattered islands and exposed coral-rock formations stand out in shades of reddish brown, pink, and gray, surrounded by luminous turquoise shallows and extensive coral reefs.
White cloud systems drift across the oceans, occasionally forming broad spirals over warmer waters. Sunlight reflects off the ocean surface in bright silver patches, emphasizing the contrast between the deep blue seas and the shallow coastal regions. With almost no polar ice, the planet maintains a predominantly blue appearance across its entire globe.
The planet’s limited urban development makes artificial lights scarce on its night side. The largest concentration of illumination comes from its principal tourist port, visible as a small cluster of lights along one of the planet’s major coral landmasses.
Surface View
Standing on Dillioni means looking across an almost endless expanse of brilliant blue ocean beneath a clear, bright sky. The coastal landscape is defined by enormous coral-rock platforms, natural arches, towering formations, and cliffs sculpted by waves and currents over geological timescales.
The principal city rises above the coastline, with buildings integrated into the natural rock formations. Bridges connect elevated platforms, while sheltered channels accommodate ships, private vessels, and marine transport. The city’s spaceport receives visitors from across the USF, making it the main gateway to the planet.
Beyond the city, clear turquoise waters reveal extensive coral reefs beneath the surface. Colorful marine life moves between coral structures, while occasional bioluminescent organisms illuminate deeper waters after sunset.
The climate is warm and comfortable throughout most of the year, accompanied by a steady ocean breeze. At sunset, golden light spreads across the water, illuminating the coral cliffs in shades of pink, orange, and red. The overall atmosphere is peaceful and exclusive, making Dillioni an ideal destination for visitors seeking natural beauty and marine recreation.
