Overview

Inglese IV is a colossal gas giant that stands out for housing an extensive atmospheric strip where some of the largest floating cities in the Region are found. Millions of inhabitants live and work on enormous urban platforms connected by bridges, spaceports, and air routes, allowing for a completely normal daily life outdoors.

From its avenues and plazas, one can see an infinite horizon of clouds that stretches out of sight, while gigantic storms slowly travel through the lower layers of the planet. The constant reddish illumination from the carbon star creates a unique environment that has made Inglese IV one of the most recognizable worlds in the USF.

In addition to its commercial and tourist importance, the planet possesses numerous atmospheric mines dedicated to the extraction of Tibium, a strategic gas indispensable for FTL engines and jump stabilizers, making it one of the most important industrial centers in the Sector.

Planetary View

From space, Inglese IV presents an imposing appearance dominated by huge atmospheric bands of maroon, dark red, burgundy, and black, interspersed with extensive layers of crimson and ash-gray clouds.

Colossal spiral storms move slowly through its atmosphere, illuminated by frequent violet lightning flashes that stand out even from orbit.
The reddish light of the carbon star bathes the entire planet in a scarlet glow, giving the impression of observing an immense, constantly moving ocean of clouds. The floating cities are barely visible from space as small, scattered luminous dots on the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Surface View

Walking on Inglese IV is like traveling through a city suspended over an infinite ocean of clouds. The sky remains tinted in shades of red and orange throughout the day due to the intense light of the carbon star.

From any viewpoint, one can see gigantic cloud formations moving slowly beneath the city, while distant storms illuminate the horizon with violet flashes. The air is calm and pleasant, allowing for expansive plazas, avenues, and outdoor residential areas.

The spaceports continuously receive ships from all over the galaxy, and the commercial platforms make the planet one of the most active economic centers in the Sector.
