Overview
Danon was originally an arid planet that was gradually transformed into an ecumenopolis during its time under the Galactic Federation, eventually covering its entire surface with a continuous urban landscape. When Danon chose to join the USF, it retained its strategic importance and became the capital of the Danon Sector.
Today, it is one of the nation’s principal administrative, technological, and industrial hubs. Its vast facilities manufacture security, protocol, engineering, maintenance, and combat droids, alongside advanced robotics, artificial intelligence systems, and electronic components.
Danon also hosts one of the USF’s largest aerospace industries, producing civilian spacecraft and specialized aerospace equipment. The construction of major military vessels takes place in enormous shipyards located within a restricted orbital zone, separated from civilian space traffic.
Planetary View
From space, Danon appears as an immense, completely urbanized sphere with no visible continents, oceans, or natural geographical features. Its entire surface is covered by an uninterrupted expanse of megacities in dark gray, copper, and amber tones. Enormous circular urban complexes, intricate infrastructure networks, and countless illuminated structures create distinctive patterns across the planet.
At night, billions of lights transform Danon into a vast, glowing urban world visible from considerable distances. A layer of clouds drifts through its atmosphere, partially veiling the cityscape, while a subtle atmospheric glow outlines the planet’s circumference.
Civilian orbital stations, commercial ports, and logistical platforms occupy the lower orbital region, supporting a constant flow of commercial traffic. The enormous military shipyards remain much farther away in a restricted orbital zone, beyond the reach of ordinary civilian traffic.
Surface View
Standing on Danon means finding yourself within a city that seemingly never ends. In every direction, skyscrapers, administrative towers, industrial complexes, and elevated transportation networks stretch toward the hazy atmosphere. There are no forests, parks, rivers, mountains, or natural landscapes; the entire surface was urbanized centuries ago.
The sky is constantly crossed by civilian airspeeders, transport vehicles, and automated service craft traveling along carefully organized aerial corridors. Vast holographic displays illuminate building facades, while enormous industrial districts operate around the clock.
Automated production lines manufacture everything from small domestic assistants to advanced security droids, military units, and civilian spacecraft. The atmosphere is one of constant activity, efficiency, and technological development, with each urban sector serving a specific function within the planet’s enormous economic network.
Fauna and Flora
None; the planet’s original ecosystems disappeared during its complete urbanization.
