Overview
Borcave is the seventh planet in the Zuthorios system, a massive gas giant distinguished by its pastel-green atmosphere and smooth bands of yellow and white gases. Its atmospheric layers exhibit relatively calm movements, giving the planet a gentler rotational appearance than most gas giants.
Deep within its atmosphere lie vast concentrations of Tibium and Titanum, making Borcave one of the Zuthorios system’s most important sources of strategic resources. Numerous floating cities are suspended within its upper atmospheric layers, housing miners, industrial workers, researchers, and their families.
Planetary View
From space, Borcave appears as an enormous pastel-green sphere crossed by broad, flowing bands of yellow and white that curve gently around its circumference. Its cloud formations create smooth, sweeping patterns, with relatively few prominent storms and a faint atmospheric haze softening the planet’s outer edge. Several of its eight moons can be seen orbiting the gas giant, while small orbital installations operate along transportation routes connecting the floating cities with mining facilities and processing stations.
Surface View
Borcave has no accessible solid surface; its inhabitants live in enormous floating cities suspended within the upper atmospheric layers. From these settlements, the horizon consists of endless green, yellow, and white clouds drifting slowly beneath the platforms. The cities contain residential districts, family housing, shops, schools, medical centers, industrial zones, and extensive extraction facilities, forming permanent communities within the gas giant’s atmosphere. Light from the system’s F-class star filters through the clouds, creating a diffuse, greenish illumination across the surrounding atmosphere and floating structures.
Fauna and Flora
No native fauna or flora are known; atmospheric microorganisms are currently under study.
